About Us

Neither Alex or myself grew up in Canada, so we were in brand new territory when we were making our first home purchase! Going through the buying process is actually what inspired Alex to become a Realtor. Back then we were young and naive. We didn’t understand how the process worked. I remember feeling overwhelmed and confused. Every time I thought we were close to the end, there was another step to complete. We didn’t feel supported and I felt like a burden with all my questions! 

 

Since then it has become our mission to ensure that no-one feels this way when making the biggest purchase of their life!

House hunting seems fun… until it isn't! We were rushing home after work in rush-hour traffic, usually with not enough time to have dinner. We spent our weekend driving around to open houses just to feel like we were back at square one - that we were never going to find our home. 

 

Our realtor at the time was pretty hands off. We did the online searching ourselves and sent along what we wanted to see and she booked a showing. When we asked for advice, it was met with vague answers that didn’t really help us anyway. 

 

The initial excitement from the first few homes had long worn off. We were tired and disheartened. I started to dread the evenings where  we were viewing homes because I knew it would end up in disappointment and frustration.

Throughout the process of buying our first property, it almost felt like we did it on our own! With all the showings we had done, we narrowed our criteria and finally found what we were looking for! From then on things moved fast. The offer was submitted and we got the great news of securing the property! The place was ours! Almost!! Then came more confusion with little direction on what to do next - navigating lawyers, mortgage documents, inspections and deposits. But, we did it! 

 

Looking back, going through such a tough experience with our first purchase, it sparked the passion in Alex. It became his mission to make the buying and selling journey as smooth as possible. Watching him work with his clients was so inspiring. I wanted to be a part of it!   

 

I followed Alex's Realtor footsteps a few years later. Before Real Estate, I was actually a Registered Dietitian for 10 years. I loved what I did, but I didn’t find it fulfilling. Guiding our clients through the buying and selling process is so rewarding. Having your trust for such a life changing decision is not something we take lightly.

Over time we have come to love working with busy families. Not only are you juggling a career, day-to-day life and now little kids. Now add in the idea of starting the search for your new home!
